Can you believe we went to the park in December? It was a beautiful day. Payton loved swinging. She wasn't so sure about going down the slide with Mom though. She spit up all over it! :)
No, Payton is not old enough (thank goodness) to go crazy over that goofy group of men called "The Wiggles" on t.v., but she definitely has the wiggles constantly! Scott and I find ourselves kicked and swung at if we get too close! We also are learning to keep a little distance at bathtime, or else we are drenched. She is a joy to be around, and it is so fun to watch her move and discover new things every day.
I had a big weekend! First, I went to my first ISU basketball game on Friday night. I loved all the lights and sounds! Then, I went to the ISU football game on Saturday. The Cyclones are terrible, but I had fun seeing my grandparents and everyone. Tonight it was my uncle Mike's birthday party. I didn't get to have any of his chewies, but Mike played with me a lot.
We're quickly settling into our new family routine. Payton and I get home around 4 pm. We play until Daddy gets home at 5:30. While they goof around, I make supper. Tonight they read about the Cyclones online. After we eat, it's upstairs for bath, baby massage, bottle and story. As you can see, Wednesday is also laundry day. Payton likes to help sort!
Then, Amy's Aunt Becky, and cousins Nicky and Brody came to visit. Brody's 6 month old little boy named Jackson had fun playing with Payton.
Payton had her 2 month check-up today and she had her first round of shots. Let's just say she shot me a look like, "Why didn't you tell me that was going to happen, Mom?" I think it was harder on Scott and me than Payton! Needless to say, today has been a crabby-hold-me-sleepy kinda day.
