Meet My New Cousin, Tyler!

Here's Payton, Tyler and Jared. Tyler is my new cousin who came all the way from Korea. He is so cute and so much fun to play with! He's already climbing up on furniture and he liked chewing on all my toys.

Nathaniel Charles Jenkins was born early this morning. Payton is pretty timid around him, although she did tickle his toes and kiss him on the nose. I have a feeling those 2 will be fast friends.

I tried to get Payton to pose nicely in her dress with her stuffed animals, but she thought playing with her toes and throwing her animals was much more fun. I don't think they pay photographers enough!

Getting Bigger All the Time!

Payton brings us so much joy! She is learning new words all the time. Her newest phrase is "I get it!" This is hollared when balls roll under furniture, as they always do, and when the doorbell rings. She has also gotten rid of her paci! She got an infection around her mouth and the doctor recommended getting rid of it. It was a tough few days, for Payton and for mommy and daddy, but we made it through! She has also learned the actions to her favorite songs, thanks to Kindermusik on Monday mornings. She loves to do all the verses of "Wheels on the Bus" and is always clapping, stomping, marching, doing circles and patting her legs to any music she hears. We are constantly amazed at how quickly she imitates us. Payton now likes to pretend to put on deodarent, mascara and hairspray as I get ready in the morning. :) Every day is a new adventure and so much more to learn!
