Pretty in Pink!

It's hard to believe Payton is already 11 weeks old! She is an absolute sweetheart! Her new "tricks" are holding her head fairly steady, smiling, cooing, and standing while you hold her. Each day she is different, and each day we are more in love!

Payton is smiling all the time now. She talks in her own little language too. It definitely makes waking up at 2 am much easier when we look into her crib and see a smiling face!

2 Months Old is No Fun!

Payton had her 2 month check-up today and she had her first round of shots. Let's just say she shot me a look like, "Why didn't you tell me that was going to happen, Mom?" I think it was harder on Scott and me than Payton! Needless to say, today has been a crabby-hold-me-sleepy kinda day.

Payton was baptized on September 2, 2006 at NorthBranch church in Ankeny. Her godparents are Brent and Michelle Drefke. It was a wonderful weekend!
