She's Growing So Fast!

Alyson is already 9 lbs 10 oz! She is filling out wonderfully and is the prettiest baby. She's sleeping and eating great and goes with the flow well during the day. We're so blessed to have such a good baby!

M & M's!

Payton went potty on the toliet for the first time 2 days ago. So, I had the great idea that from now on she gets 2 M & M's for going and 1 for trying. Then, I decided to explain this new system to Payton. Payton listened very carefully, then immediately said "OK!" and sat down on the potty and stuck out her hand for an M & M! She's too smart!!! Now we have designated times during the day when she tries to go potty to earn her treats. It's scary to think she can outsmart us already!!!

Kindermusik Concert

Payton had a Kindermusick Family Fun Night tonight. She made a turtle, ate some cookies and then performed some songs she had learned with Mommy and Daddy. Nana and Papa and little sister Alyson also came to watch. She's growing up so quickly!

The Evil Eye

Payton has decided to mimic Mommy's "I MEAN IT!" look. What do you think? Pretty scary, huh?

Close Cousins

Nathaniel and Alyson were born a week apart. They'll have so much fun growing up together! They already have similar interests...check out the pacis!

Alyson is a wonderful baby. She only fusses when hungry and is so snuggly! She's also starting to sleep for longer periods of time...YEA!

Payton isn't quite sure yet whether or not she likes her little sister, but she does like helping Mommy. She sits on the changing table and hands me wipes and diapers. Today Alyson surprised us both and pooped as we were switching diapers. Payton was pretty grossed out but she helped me clean and do the laundry.

Changing to Man-to-Man

Scott and I are quickly learning how to adjust to 2 children and only 4 hands. So far we've managed pretty well, not counting the time both girls blew out their diapers and decided to throw fits. That was crazy!
