Camping at Cutty's

Payton went on her first ever camping adventure. It wasn't roughing it by any means, but we all had a lot of fun with the family. Jackson and Payton played together in the wagon a lot.

New Hair Style

Payton's hair is growing so quickly and it's so out of control, that I've resorted to a ponytail holder. As you can see, her hair sticks straight up, but the alternative is having constant bedhead, or getting her hair cut, which won't happen anytime soon. She's still pretty darn cute :)

Payton's First Birthday!

What an awesome day! Payton had blast with her aunts, uncles, cousin, friends, grandmas, grandpas and great- grandpa. Scott and I have decided that we're very glad Payton allows us to use her home. Her toys have taken over! She got many nice presents. The cake was a bit hit too. She took one lick of the frosting and it was all over after that!

Payton ended the day by riding in her new wagon from Mommy and Daddy. It didn't take long for the sugar to wear off. After a long bath with her new tub toys, and after reading her new books, she was out!

Staying Cool on these Hot Summer Days

Although, Payton's favorite thing to do is to take a bath, she wasn't too sure about playing in the splash pool. After getting her feet wet, (and a few raisins) she was diving in.

Also to help stay cool, Payton got to have her first taste of a popsicle. I don't know if you can tell by her reaction or not, but she liked it!

Car Wash, Please!

Payton is fast becoming a little diva. She's already got boys washing her car! Alex and Zach are twins that I'm watching during the week. Payton really enjoys playing with them, and they tolerate her playing with their "big boy toys" pretty well!
