Tubes

After several ear infections and continual antibotics, Payton had tubes put in this Friday morning. It took 3 minutes for the procedure, and we were told we could leave her there if we wanted because the nurses absolutely loved her! Leave it to Payton to charm the socks off total strangers when she hadn't eaten since 7:30pm! So, now she's getting a better night's sleep. That's good for all of us!

Trouble at Grandma's and Grandpa's!

As you can see, Payton really enjoyed her sleepover at Grandma and Grandpa's house. It looks like she enjoyed some ice cream before taking a dip in the hot tub! We're pretty sure Grandma and Grandpa sent these pictures to be funny, but who knows?!!!

So Silly!

We're starting to catch glimpses of what Payton will be like as a teenager. She loves her car and pink glasses!
Payton is really getting into eating all sorts of vegetables and fruits on her own. Tonight was blueberries...quite a mess!

Payton is 9 mo. Old Today!

Payton takes her car out for a spin. I'm pretty sure she couldn't move with all the layers on, but we think she enjoyed it anyway.
Uncle Mike is so much fun!

Payton's First Easter

Friday night we spent some time in West Des Moines with Nana and Papa (Grandma and Grandpa Crist). Payton can say "Papa" on command and is working hard on "Nana". They gave her the adorable outfit to wear for Easter. Then, we stopped by Humboldt, Iowa Saturday morning to see Payton's great-grandparents. They were excited to spend some time with us and we enjoyed a nice lunch. After that, we traveled to Marcus, Iowa to spend time with Grandma Ann and Grandpa Ray. We went to church Sunday morning and Payton was very good. She danced during the songs and made it through the sermon munching quietly on Cheerios. It was a fun weekend!
