Both girls asked for a new DS and a few other toys. This was the first year I didn't have to sit with either girl on his lap because they were too frightened.

Florida Trip 2012!

It all started with a scavenger hunt the night before we took the girls on their first plane ride. They pieced the clues together and found out we were leaving for Florida with Nana, Papa, Erin, Matt, Camryn, Owen, Nate, Mike and Kristin...and...they were going to visit Disney World! It was a huge surprise for both girls! They were thrilled to pick out princess dresses for dinner with Cinderalla. The trip lived up to all our expectations! I was able to pull Payton's very loose tooth this morning then Aly had one removed at the dentist!

First Dance Recital: "Don't Stop Believing"

The girls did such a great job...we are extremely proud parents :)

Payton was in 3 dances and Aly was in 2 not including both finales for both girls. They danced their little hearts out. Aly added a few facial expressions, like her "grumpy orphan face", during the 'Annie' song that were truly priceless. She was also the first girl on stage everytime and the first one off! Payton took it very seriously and knew every step and position...but we did catch her grin a few times :) Ashley, the owner of the dance studio, commented that Payton was the most improved dancer out of the entire studio this year. She has really come out of her shell and it's awesome to see!

A Weekend of Firsts!

Payton ran her first race - a 1 mile fun run with Mom - and she loved it!



Payton learned how to ride her bike all on her own without training wheels! She's thrilled!



Aly's first Blastball game. She's a real slugger and loves having Daddy as her coach!

Recital Time!

Payton and Aly are gearing up for their first ever dance recital on June 9th! They have learned so much in just a short amount of time and made some great friends. We are so excited to watch them show off all their moves :)

ROCKSTAR ALY!

To celebrate Aly officially being a rockin' 4 year old we had a rockstar birthday party complete with 13 kids, a bounce house, blow up guitars and microphones, strobe lights, black lights, bling, tattoos, "Just Dance", bandanas and some super fun, loud music to dance to! The kids ended the party by making their very own Rock Dance video and watching themselves on t.v. So much fun!

Easter 2012

We did the traditional Easter Egg dying and Easter Egg hunts but also added a new tradition this year visiting the "Easter Experience" at chuch. The girls learned the Easter story and experienced what the Last Supper was like and carrying a cross. We had a great time having family over for both Easter and Aly's birthday celebration.

Spring Is Here!!!

Our new routine is Aly wakes up from nap, Payton gets home from school and then it's outside until supper! The weather has been awesome...we've even had a few days with the sprinkler out and new swimsuits on!

Our Little Hoopster

Payton finished her second season of Little Dunker's basketball. She made a ton of baskets and really seems to be understanding the game much better. Daddy was the coach this year and Mommy and Aly were on the sidelines running subs and potty breaks. :)

Daddy Daughter Dance 2012

Daddy and Papa had some very special dates for the Valentine's Dance :) The girls had a blast dancing, running around with friends and even playing basketball at the end of the night.

Let's Dance!

Payton and Aly couldn't be more excited to be starting dance classes. Payton is taking Hip Hop and Aly is taking Tap and Ballet. There's definitely a learning curve as a lot of the girls have been dancing for quite a long time already, but they are figuring things out pretty well and loving every minute of it!
